COEVOLUTION SYSTEMS

Coevolution technology that designs interactions between different forms of intelligence to develop new judgments and methods.

Experience accumulated through human bodies and lives, and the ways AI connects and explores information, are shaped under different conditions. We study how their interaction can give rise to questions, judgments, and methods that would be difficult for either form of intelligence to develop alone. We design coevolution systems in which these methods can be applied in the world. Experience, insight, and outcomes then change both the source intelligence and its relationships, opening previously inaccessible potential.

Human foundations · lived experience
AI · models, tools, memory
Interaction
New questions · judgments · methods
Real-world action · experience · insight
Renewed source intelligence and relationships
A shared foundation of human and technical infrastructure
A research perspective: third intelligence

We use “third intelligence” as a perspective for studying the questions, judgments, and problem-solving capabilities that form through these relationships, and how they change the conditions for subsequent interaction. Our focus is on sources that continue to encounter the world and on relationships that develop alongside them.

It is a perspective on capabilities that arise through relationships, not a claim of consciousness or superiority.

Functions, conditions, and connections

These five functions form one coevolution system. Judgment Engineering and Resource Allocation Engineering are the two lenses that run through them.

A | Judgment and problem formulation

Examining goals, questions, assumptions, alternatives, and outcomes to reshape problems and collaboration.

Judgment Engineering · Judgment OS · judgment within coevolution systems

B | Context, memory, and execution

Retaining how and why intelligence formed, and connecting it with work and subsequent interaction.

Blitz + Brand OS · shared functions and brand application

C | Resource allocation

Composing and allocating intelligence, time, attention, compute, capital, and practical resources around tasks and conditions, with the whole ecosystem as the unit.

Resource Allocation Engineering · where intelligence sits within the evolving ecosystem

D | Authority, security, and contribution

Connecting access, sharing, execution, protection, provenance, changes, use, and contributions.

Applies across the whole process. Records, rights, and compensation are handled separately.

E | Physical-world connections

Bringing bodily and situated experience into intelligence formation and learning from action, observation, and recovery.

Physical systems and robotics · reciprocal connections with the world

We study how far specialist collaboration can deepen a question and shorten the path from question to real-world experiment.
